Our winners: Sysomos und Radian6 impressed us in many respects. We set up a specific, detailed test for a large customer and undertook an intense comparison of the results. Our judgement: both did very well, but they are suitable for different purposes and requirements.

Radian6 is very suitable for exploratory work (e.g. if you don’t really know your subjects yet). Based on the price model, it will be good for smaller brands with fewer users. The workflow options are good. Main drawback: historic data.

In short: Sysomos is a great, easy to use tool with many functionalities for entry and mid level. Radian6 is THE powertool for high professional use, complex workflows and bigger organisations.
